the exhibition celebrates Southern Californias love affair with the automobile through the eyes of Japanese Americans.and another panel discussion about the import car scene on Saturday.and collectors; concept car designs; plus five classic cars that embody the exhibitions themes of speed.

The exhibition is anchored by five classic cars:George Nakamuras Meteor hot rod from the early 1940s;Brian Omatsus custom 1951 Mercury coupe known as the Purple Reign;A 1956 Ford F-100 pickup truck once owned by West L.JANM plans an array of public programs both at ArtCenter and on JANMs campus in Little Tokyo.
